Creating and Organizing File Folders
Keeping computer desktops clean and organized will help students be able to quickly find files needed for individual class periods. The document below will teach you how to create individual folders, as well as organize the items within the folder. There is also a video on how to move and arrange files once they are on the desktop.
Arranging Your Sidebar
The "Finder" Application contains all files located on the computer. The video below will help you arrange your sidebar so that you can easily access applications, videos, pictures, movies, and documents.
Taking a Screenshot
To take a screenshot of part of your screen, press Command (⌘)-Shift-4. Move the crosshair pointer to where you want to start the screenshot. Then, drag to select an area. When you've selected the area you want, release your mouse or trackpad button. You will find the screenshot as a .png file on your desktop. Watch the video below to see this in action!
