At Elmore Park Middle School, we believe student success is a shared responsibility. This
compact outlines the commitments of students, families, teachers, and school leaders as we
work together to support student achievement and growth. Through shared responsibility and
strong relationships, we provide every student with the support needed to achieve
extraordinary results.

Elmore Park Administrators will:

  • Provide an environment that promotes positive communication.
  • Provide staff development to promote standards-based and differentiated instruction.
  • Promote consistent academic, behavioral, and attendance expectations across the school.
  • Provide parents the opportunity to volunteer and participate in their student’s educational experience.
  • Demonstrate and promote dignity, kindness, and respect for every member of our school community.


Elmore Park Teachers will

  • Provide a safe and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Provide high quality curriculum and standards-based instruction.
  • Communicate regularly with families about progress, needs, and next steps.
  • Hold annual parent-teacher conferences offered at flexible times.
  • Provide appropriate opportunities for intervention, enrichment, practice, and feedback.
  • Model and reinforce dignity, kindness, and respect for all stakeholders.


Elmore Park Families will

  • Ensure that their child is punctual and attends school regularly.
  • Provide a consistent time and place for schoolwork and encourage their child to complete assignments.
  • Encourage their child to be an active participant in their classes and advocate appropriately for support.
  • Stay informed by reading school communication about their child’s education and responding when follow up is necessary.
  • Partner with the school in supporting academic expectations, behavior expectations, and a safe school environment.


Elmore Park Students will

  • Arrive prepared and ready to learn each day.
  • Take ownership of learning through active daily participation and the consistent completion of all classwork and homework.
  • Make responsible choices, follow school expectations, and contribute to a positive learning environment.
  • Treat classmates, teachers, staff, and visitors with dignity, kindness, and respect.
