I'll be taking you on a brief tour of the school car line as you have what's the stool the car line entrance is this first driveway on the right in the middle of the street typically is our crossing guard please pay attention to them and follow their instructions when they wave you in you'll make the right hand turn into the school lot annual proceed straight forward now should you need to park and take care of something with your student maybe sign their homework or something like that or need to come in and speak to someone these first two driveways where you need to go once you enter the 3rd driveway you will stay in the card line all the way through so you're come to the end here and you'll make a left turn at this point we ask that no more left turns until you are ready to exit we also ask that students not get out on this sidewalk for safety concerns as you approach the building here you'll know there is a crosswalk we asked you to be extra careful and alert here as sometimes students aren't as diligent and paying attention as we would like or School staff step out and help a student across the street proceeding forward make sure you are going at a safe speed posted speed is 5 MI our way also ask that you refrain from using your cell phone in any way as our main focus is on the safety for all involved but play first students and our faculty as well as our parents we also ask that while you're in the car line you not passing any cars sometimes it's tempting to want to go around those cars that are going a little slower it does present a danger and we want to avoid any of those things from happening as you come around we'll get past this light pole and there is the sidewalk this is where we typically unload students now your student may be in this first hallway it may be tempting to stop here and let them out and make their morning a little easier however we ask that you avoid that as that large gap allows us to unload fewer cars and it delays everyone else behind you needlessly so we ask that you do pull all the way up to the vehicle in front of you School staff will be out along sidewalk directing you and will help with that as you pull up in your car comes to a complete stop your student may exit on the passenger side only now in the afternoon when it's time for pickup sometimes our students are so excited about what they've learned that they miss seeing their car go by when this happens may I ask you to pull around the corner as seen here we appreciate your patience with this as it allows us to keep the car line moving and to get your student to you as quickly as possible follow all these tips why
