Welcome to Mrs. Walsh's (Norris) 8th grade Social Studies class. This year we will study the history of the United States from Colonization (1607) through the end of Reconstruction (1877). About Mrs. Walsh (Norris):
Mrs. Walsh is a lifelong Bartlett/Memphis resident and a graduate of Bartlett High, The University of Memphis, and Christian Brothers University. She lives in Bartlett with her husband and four crazy dogs. Mrs. Walsh has two 18 year old sons who are off at college (one in Chattanooga, on in Indiana), a 22 year old daughter who is in college in Virginia, and a 25 year old daughter who lives with her husband in Chattanooga.
Ms. Norris loves history, especially Native American History and Constitutional studies. Teaching students about the history of their country is a passion for her as well as a career.
