Learning Lab Agenda

In this class, we will work on supporting skills of grade level math and reading comprehension- the ability to process text, understand its meaning, and to integrate with what the reader already knows. Specifically, students will work on identifying Main Idea, Compare and Contrast, Drawing Conclusions, Fact and Opinion, Cause and Effect, and Figurative Language.  In Math, students will work on understanding Multi step equations and geometry with a heavy focus on functions-what is a function, linear vs non-linear functions and what makes a function when working with equations.
