Assignment

Final Draft of 3 Paragraphs (Submit on Curve)

Students, this is the assignment where you wrote 3 paragraphs (one on each character Ma, Mr. Hardly, and Billie Jo) from the poem "Mr. Hardly's Money Handling" from our text Out of the Dust.

On the 22nd we reviewed these paragraphs in class and made suggestions for edits. You were asked to submit what you had at the end of class, however, you were encouraged to make edits and/or corrections, proofread, or have someone else proofread, and then submit a second submission on Curve.

If you have not submitted this, you currently have a 0 entered in the grade book, and that will remain until you submit your work, email me letting me know you have submitted it, and I get it graded.  Be aware that conduct marks will begin accruing on Wednesday 12-4 for not having this assignment submitted.

Assignment

No Red Ink assignment.

Students, you were asked to complete an assignment on NoRedInk (our online grammar practice site) regarding definite articles.

Remember, you are allowed to go back and review material and keep trying the skill over until you master it.  Anything less than a 100% (50 points in this case) is simply a lack of continuing to work until the skill is mastered.

If your score is low, you may go back and continue to practice until you have mastered the skill.  However, If I have already entered your score in the grade book, you will need to email me letting me know you have gone back and worked to raise your score, so I can make the change in the grade book.
