With just a little over two weeks left in the school year and a multitude of activities scheduled over the coming days, we wanted to provide an exhaustive overview for your planning purposes. The list below captures the majority of our larger end of year events and there are also a few other small group activities not listed.
Please continue to remind your students of school expectations regarding dress code and behavior. We want to close out the school year on a positive note and our goal is for all students to have the opportunity to participate in our school wide activities.

Returning (to any BCS school) Student Registration
Information will be emailed to custodial parents listed as the first contact in Powerschool. All new proofs and documentation is required to be uploaded each year. Information is already posted on our school webpage (https://epms.bartlettschools.org/apps/pages/index.jsp?uREC_ID=1730351&type=d&pREC_ID=1920520) for your planning. We are asking that all registrations be completed by May 31, 2024. Students will not receive a schedule next year unless their registration has been completed.
Teacher Appreciation Week (Flyer Attached)
Each year, teachers across the country are celebrated for their service to students of all ages. While nothing is expected, our staff put together some simple ideas that could help students communicate gratitude to their teachers.
Laptop Collection
BCS is collecting ALL laptops prior to the end of the school year. Please take note of the dates above and ensure your student(s) complete and submit all their work prior to these dates. Chargers will also be collected. Laptop covers should be removed before turning the laptop into the technology team.
Field Days (Flyer Attached)
EPMS Field Days are a blast and families are welcome to join in the fun! The first half of the day is spent on the front lawn participating in relay type activities, tug of war, and more to crown the champion homeroom. After a picnic lunch, students who purchase the $10 wristband will play in the gym on inflatables, eat snacks, and hangout. You may purchase the wristbands online through School Cash or send cash with your student beginning on Monday, April 29th. These days create some awesome memories and our PE team is gearing up for the best field days yet!
8th Grade Formal (Flyer Attached)
All EPMS 8th Graders and only EPMS 8th Graders are invited to attend the 8th Grade Formal on Friday, May 10th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. The cost is $20 and food will be served at the dance. Tickets are available now on School Cash Online or your student may pay with cash beginning on Monday, April 29th. Tickets must be purchased by Wednesday, May 8th in order to participate.
6th & 7th Grade Award Ceremonies
Teachers will be contacting the family of any student who will be receiving an award. If your student is receiving an award, you are welcome to bring other families along with you to celebrate them. Students are allowed to stay for the remainder of the day, but we often see families check students out to celebrate their accomplishments.
8th Grade Promotion
Information has already been sent to 8th Grade families and an update with reminders and such will come soon. Remember that this is a ticketed event and the opportunity to request up to 3 additional tickets will posted to our webpage on Monday, April 29th at 8:00 a.m.
