Welcome!

Hello everyone! I am Mr. Aureli and I would like to take this opportunity to give you a little history about me. I was born and raised in Memphis, TN. I did live in Neptune Beach, which is a city right outside of Jacksonville, FL for about 2 years after high school. I graduated from Collierville High School, and got my Bachelors degree in English Language Arts from the University of Memphis. During my time at the UofM, my main focuses were creative writing and Greek Mythology. I also received my Masters degree in Secondary Education from the University of Phoenix. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, playing music, skateboarding, playing video games, writing (when I get the chance), watching movies etc. I started teaching in 2019 and am super excited to be at Elmore Park Middle School. I have taught 5th grade and 8th grade, and have been a 8th grade honors ELA teacher for the last 2 years. I do have a book of poems published called, "Thoughts of the Night." You can find it on Amazon and any book seller can get it for you if it isn't on their shelves.
