Introduction

Welcome to Mrs. McIntire's S.T.E.M. Classroom! I am excited that you are here!

 

Please, allow me to introduce myself. I am a mom to three boys, and we have all attended Bartlett schools. My youngest sons will be attending the Ninth Grade Academy and Bartlett HS, this year. My husband is retired from the U.S. Navy, so we have lived in Virginia and Pennsylvania. I attended The University of Memphis for my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees and Graduate Certificate for STEM Teaching and Leadership. I was recently accepted into their Doctorate program to further my study of STEM Education. I am a Memphis Tiger through and through (also attended their Campus School). This will be my seventh year of teaching, but it will be my first year teaching at Elmore Park Middle School. I am thrilled to be an Elmore Park Eagle, and I am excited to share my love for STEM education with your child. 

 

My hobbies include hydroponic, aquaponic, and vertical gardening. We also raise six chickens, three dogs, and one very mischievous feline. There is never a dull moment at McIntire Manor. In my free time, I enjoy Star Wars and Marvel movie marathons, coffee, and chocolate.
