Behavior Incentives

Behavior Incentives

The identified purpose of the Positive Behavior Support program is to instruct and reinforce students for displaying our three school-wide expectations: Responsibility, Relationships, and Results. We have a culture that celebrates the successes of meeting the school-wide expectations.

  1. Eagle Bucks: Teachers use Eagle Bucks as a form of positive reinforcement for students demonstrating appropriate behaviors. These can be cashed in for a variety of treats, prizes, or privileges.
  2. Behavior Incentive Parties:  At the end of each nine weeks, we hold a school-wide party for students who have demonstrated positive behavior and attendance over the course of the nine weeks.  In the past, we have had picnics, concerts, and even a bowling trip.

Quarter 1 - Picnic

Quarter 2 - Concert

Quarter 3 - Bowling or Trip

Quarter 4 - Field Day

*Students will not be allowed to participate in the quarterly incentives if they have received >3 detentions, In-school suspension, out-of-school suspension, bus suspension and/or loss of computer privileges for major violations.

**Students begin each quarter with a clean slate.

***Administration reserves the right to exclude for other reasons, but will communicate with all families about those issues.
